Robin and Lauren Swayze are a mother and daughter team who in 2009 decided to walk in the steps of Julie from Julie and Julia and take on a culinary adventure. Our mission was to eat out at a different restaurant in Boston once a week for one year. We easily and with great enthusiasm completed that “challenge”. There are so many great choices of wonderful restaurants in Boston and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to spend time with Lauren and eat good food. In addition to what is now the occasional restaurant review, this blog now includes many recipes from my year at Cambridge School of Culinary Arts, cooking with good friend Elizabeth Canny, cooking adventures while at Chez Panisse in Berkeley, California and at The Market Restaurant in Annisquam, Ma.
